How do you keep the bank account active?

Most people in my country have the tendency for opening bank accounts with different banks. The problem with them is that they lack funds for the accounts such that the accounts remain dormant.
What do you say?

I have three bank accounts and they do not need to maintain a certain amount of money. Moreover, they will not close despite having no maintaining balance.

It’s by making use of it. I have some accounts that I use once a month and I have a particular one I use for little transactions or everyday transactions

It is stupidity to be parading many bank accounts with no funds inside. I would rather have just two bank accounts with some funds inside. Sooner or later, all those numerous accounts would become dormant.

As long as money comes in and out of the account you don't have to worry about the account being deactivated.

Why should you have many bank accounts when you are not using them? I prefer to have just a few accounts that I am sure I will keep active because I am actually using them.

You just need to maintain a little bit of a balance with each one. I can't speak for everyone, but I've never had an issue with a bank, so long as I had like $20 in it.

I only open a bank account when I have the need for it and would be regularly funding it. I don't open bank accounts for fun.

Most of my bank accounts are linked to UPI so I am able to send and receive payments with it and this way we can keep it active
