If you decide to start at the basic level, you don't need much. You just need iron, table and buckets. That approximately NGN15000. About $25.

This is for a basic level. I am sure the person has a place he/ she is staying. That space can be put to good use by setting up a laundry.

Sometimes where one stays might not be convenient for a laundry business as the business needs space for it's different activities
If a person's room cannot contain just a table and a chair, then that person is staying in cubicle. I have seen someone start a laundry business in a single room apartment.

Wow, you have all these costings and materials listed. I appreciate you for doing an extra mile knowing and gathering the details.
Locally people are earning a lot of money from laundry business, usually people open in their home where cost of starting business very low and they get big area to operate. They collect orders from their shops and complete it in their home.

I am eyeing this business to start at home. I hope there will be more customers to go and try the laundry service once it is operational. For now it is still in the mind.

I am clueless. Maybe around 500,000 to 1 million pesos. That is over 50,000 in US dollars. I'd like to open a laundry business as well, but I don't have the financial capability yet.
