It ruins the friendship and trust. One concrete example is the unfair transaction encountered by my cousin. She used to hire Company A to supply them Rhums but to her surprise, the other store akways received 1 pack containing 6 Rhums free, so she shifted to another supplier and later the supplier knew the reason from the other store that always receive I pack Rhums. They're cheating.

Yeah one good idea is that of payment. The suppliers when psid on time will be motivated to always supply without failing.

Having a friendly relationship also helps and we can offer them some water or tea or snacks sometime and all this helps and they may feel us as our friends and that's how we should be so we can ask for help and they will be happy to help

You are right my uncle do entertain some of his suppliers as they never fail with supplying him all the products he ever needed.

These things do help and with tea and drinks you can make a lot of friends and its how we used to chat and talk about our life and other things and I have seen many that use this as a technique to win more friends and it most of the times help

I am not very good at it and have less patience but I see others that are so good with these methods

Some suppliers can be naturally toxic they also behave rudely without an atom of respect , creating a friendly atmosphere around these type of people might be a bit difficult . the business owners should be patient enough to stomach the supplier's attitude but when it is getting unbearable the business should find an alternative supplier.
