How to use twitter and other Social networking websites in Getting Referrals?

I would like to learn how to utilize twitter or other social networking websites to get referrals for our favorite websites. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

There was no special when it comes to posting referrals. I have used Twitter to advertise my posts on BlogJob and Niume before. I am not sure if I used it for referrals. If I do, I only post a Tweet with my referral link. Or send a DM to people I know they want to try the sites.

I try to use any avenue that will give me the desired results. if it Twitter then fine and good. Let it gives it the most result.

I even tried posting on Tumblr and StumbleUpon. Reddit as well played well during the time of BlogJob and even Bubblews. I also used Twitter to promote my posts on Rabadaba for views on photos I posted.

I think it depends if we have our followers that are interested in earning online and only then we can expect to get some referrals and otherwise it won't work so it would be the same as facebook but I have also seen that all these websites are so strict that they don't allow you to post links like that

I have 3000 plus Facebook friends, 120 in LinkedIn and 230 in Twitter but none registered to referral link. Their mind set isn't like ours.

That's a pretty good amount of followers you have on Facebook and other websites but yes not everyone will be interested in earning online and they don't even give this much of a thought so we need to find some ways to convince them

I have seen you post on your Facebook and there are times you are able to find referrals for your website but we all know that those users are not much interested in earning online so even when they join they don't stay active

In order to get referral, if the website offer banners then we can put these referral link banners in our website to which we feel that it has more traffic, so the people those who comes through this link we'll get referral.

At the same time, there are some people who have a lot of followers and they can just refer some of their followers

I feel facebook and Instagram are easiest and we can find people that maybe interested in joining our websites but it'll be hard on twitter as most of us don't use it much

You can send a direct message to the buyers and they can reach you through that. That is the best thing
