to build a strong network on Twitter and other social networking sites. Follow people who are in your target audience and engage with them.

That's 100% correct and it's too hard to directly get referrals from any of these social networking websites and I have personally tried hard a lot many times in the previous years but I have never been successful with it.

It's just a complete waste of time. I have tried to do it some years but never got one person. It's only my close friend that joined because they trusted me.

I don't think you should call it a waste of time because there are some people who are still able to do it even though we are not able to get it right

It would be awesome if i can get referrals from social media, especially on faucet sites and the likes that gives commission when they work, but i do not know how to do this and another thing is they don't work. Even after you refer them, they don't take it seriously.

Twitter is hard but Instagram and facbook can be used for this purpose and its not hard to find interested users on these platforms

Most of website offers ready plugins to share referral link by tweet on your timewall but since a lot of people are doing this pratice then no one is care join under you.

You just have to look for social media groups that are similar to what you're promoting before you start posting the affiliate links.
