If you want to resign from a company for reasons of low salary, then suddenly the boss offers a raise, what decision do you choose to stay or quit?

I have experienced working in a company, where my salary can be considered quite low. However, because I am a fresh graduate and have no experience, I still accept it just to gain experience.

However, after all this time, the salary has not increased, even though there are more and more tasks and they are not in accordance with the initial agreement. Until when I asked permission to resign, suddenly the boss offered a raise. But I still refused and still decided to resign, worried that I would not be sincere in raising my salary or being given a lot of additional assignments. What do you think?

For me I would stay on the company. So long as my main problem for quitting was the low salary, I would continue working there but when I get some greener pastures I would just go for it.

This is a dicey situation that needs one thinking critically. I would stay on in the company. Since the key or main problem was the low salary, With salary increase I will continue work

If my only reason was due to the salary, then i would gladly stay once they increase it. But in a situation where i also have other reasons, i doubt i would want to stay.

Well, I would try to understand the situation. If things become worse for me, then I would not continue. If circumstances are better, then things would be quite different in that particular case.

I would consider that the boss has to wait for a threat of resignation before he considered a raise ad I would still resign. Bosses are supposed to consciously seek the welfare of their staff.

Yes with this it depends on other reasons but if the only reason was due to the salary, then it would be staying put but if not I would still have to go

Yes, I agree with you. I also decided to leave, because I saw that such a boss was selfish and did not pay attention to the welfare of employees. If he really want to raise your salary, he shouldn't have to wait for threats to resign.

The salary increase is not to be announced instantly. It will be after a thorough deliberation of the board of directors or the board of regents. And then it will be announced after the result is final. In that case, those who are worried about a low salary could back out from a decision to quit.

Since it's all about the low salary thing that am resigning and it was increased i'll definitely stay but if i have other complaints about the company aside the low salary i'll resign but in all this has to be done with a proper thinking and reasoning.

The thing is if you had intended to resign the job based on the low salaries basis and when the boss increases your salary I don't see a point for you reigning any longer.

Yeah it is still good to leave if you see other situations you cant cope. Absolutely it is not always about money a boss that is selfish and did not pay attention to the employees is bad news

Once you resign then it's better to stand on it because once you resign and then again get good salary offer and so you join again then this thing will remain in the mind of other colleagues as well as in boss mind too.

In cases like this it is a two way arrow . you might be treated well or not. That's just the truth . if you are going to be treated well then you stay put.

If my boss offers to raise my salary when I resign, I would probably still quit because I usually change job for better salary and other factors such as career prospects, work life balance, and the working environment. Money matters but there are other things which are equally important.

Right, I agree with you. I also think it's better to resign, a boss who is selfish and doesn't pay attention to employees is a toxic boss. It's not good for us to survive in a toxic work environment.

Timer decide to continue the job as long as my boss has increase my salary or the salary in general because my main reason for wanting to leave the job is because of low salary
