Impossible to find a job without help?

For me, people can find their jobs with the help of others. The downside is that they are still practicing nepotism. It is an old system that continues to hire people. The worst part is, some of them are not suitable for the jobs.
People can get jobs without having any help if they know what they are pursuing and set plans in time for themselves.
On this matter, they need to upgrade themselves by enhancing their existing soft skills or learning these new skills to find suitable jobs for them.
Here, it might not be difficult, especially if that young person is qualified for the position. It could be even more beneficial if someone were to help him or her.
This is the downside if an applicant has a backer and can be hired with the help of their connections.
After graduation I was hired to work from the University where I graduated teaching University Physics and Physics with Rigid Bodies and Calculus. I was hired by the University Dean. I didn't have a backer and didn't apply. I was called to work one week after graduation.
If you graduate with a first class honours in my country, you are automatically employed even if you don't know anyone.
I do agree that we need connections to find a good job. It does not happen only now, but it happened in the past, especially local government agencies.
It is not anymore happening here in my place to hire someone with whom you know. It happened like that before but the one recommended was fired, he does not know computer hands-on. it is the skills that is very vital for hiring an employee.
