For me, people can find their jobs with the help of others. The downside is that they are still practicing nepotism. It is an old system that continues to hire people. The worst part is, some of them are not suitable for the jobs.

I do agree that we need connections to find a good job. It does not happen only now, but it happened in the past, especially local government agencies.

It is not anymore happening here in my place to hire someone with whom you know. It happened like that before but the one recommended was fired, he does not know computer hands-on. it is the skills that is very vital for hiring an employee.

I was hired to work the next day after graduation without a help or backer. I was called by the boss to start working the next day and I did not apply yet. I was just lucky.
