When you are investing, it is very likely that you want to invest in popular businesses, that’s because you might be assuming that popular businesses are also profitable businesses. However, popularity doesn't always guarantee profitability. The business might be popular because it might have invested a lot of money in branding and marketing, however. it might not be making a lot of sales, or might have high running costs, therefore has less profits.

That's the goodness of the well known and the renowned businesses for that matter. Investing in such businesses would be more profitable.

It's a common assumption that popular businesses are profitable, but this isn't always the case. Popularity can be driven by factors like brand recognition and marketing rather than financial health. While well-known companies may seem like a safer investment, it's crucial to dig deeper into their financial performance, growth potential, and market position.
