Yes you can play and discuss with your staffs but there should always be a limit as to everything you do. Play with them too much and they would loose respect for you, when you are too serious with them, they would start fearing you.

Very true. Personally I feel there is notting wrong with this as long as it does not distract your workers from doing their jobs. This will create a work place where your workers we be more free to discuss with you, but at the same time there should be a limit as to how close you are to them.
