I have heard so many stories about persons who have gone for job interviews but they where asked questions not related to the position they applied for or even what they studied. What's your take on this? Are the interviewers being fair?

I agree, there are interview questions that do not match to our skills. When I was interviewed first time, I was asked why I was there. Then I answered the interviewer, I'm here to be interviewed by you. His answer was this, well, you're like an FM announcer, so funny and then he said you're hired. Wow so fantastic that I jumped for joy in front of him.

A professional hirer may ask questions in the interview which may not be directly related to the applicant's skills or work experience. The interviewer may want to understand more about the applicant's personality, his/her response in certain situations.
I agree with you, They can ask you things you do not expect. Interviews are so stressful for me.
That is why it is important to your setup your own business. If you have a business that is successful you will be the one interviewing people.
I just talk to my friend about interviews and I notice I don't have much experience in it. I most cases I send papers and they just send notification did I got job or not. In small number of interviews I got most job related questions. In one there was are which is related to my but not on that level. I guess that was hardest questions.
That's true. It is wonderful to have your own business but of course, you need some capital and a good plan to start it.
Yes, they don't ask about the job they are interviewed for or about what they studied. They ask some general questions to check the self-confidence of a person which is helpful in a job dealing with people. Being in a production field we usually check the leadership skill of a person because he/she has to lead a team and if you lead the team well you do well in a production job.
Yeah, having enough capital is always very important and necessary when venturing into a business. It is what will make you to have proper plan.

Yeah, without proper plan you will find it very difficult to build any successful business. Having a proper plan is the first step then after that you need to get capital.

Probably, starting a business is a very good idea for several people. It is one of the pathways to financial freedom.
Probably, sometimes the interviewer can go crazy and ask a question not even related to your field. So making extensive research is needed before you go for an interview.
Correct. You are financially independent which is great and you are the boss of yourself.
