When you are going to interview you should be prepared and expect questions from all angles. I believe any question should be relevant to what they are expecting from you.

Maybe interviewers throws unrelated questions to psyche the interviewee in that way they can know deeply the real personality of the interviewee.

This is done to test your ability to be able to express yourself in a diverse and demanding environment, also trends and protocols are changing every day and if you do not keep updated this question can tend to be difficulty because of its technical aspect. So it is important to be as exposed as possible in various spheres and experiences.

Asking unrelated questions during a job interview can be unethical and may not accurately assess a candidate's qualifications. Interviewers should focus on job-related inquiries to ensure a fair and objective evaluation of applicants.
I think it is the right of the company to ask any question in order to see the versatility of potential employees.

I have heard so many stories about persons who have gone for job interviews but they where asked questions not related to the position they applied for or even what they studied. What's your take on this? Are the interviewers being fair?
I don't think the answers are being fair enough so they should just be mild with people instead of being too strict

I think it is not fair to ask irrelevant questions, you need an employee for a job not a computer to solve every problem for you.

Probably, sometimes the interviewer can go crazy and ask a question not even related to your field. So making extensive research is needed before you go for an interview.
This is exactly what I was trying to say because I've had that experience on several occasion with some interview that have been to and I was quite prepared to take on the questions that they might throw at me.

That's why as an individual, you must have a fair knowledge of almost everything. That is a way of the interview panel testing how exposed you are. It might be a sensitive position that requires exposed people.

it is really a good thing that you prepared for such the interview. Sometimes they would want to know how versatile you are before being employed in the business venture. So it is good to prepare well.

I agree, there are interview questions that do not match to our skills. When I was interviewed first time, I was asked why I was there. Then I answered the interviewer, I'm here to be interviewed by you. His answer was this, well, you're like an FM announcer, so funny and then he said you're hired. Wow so fantastic that I jumped for joy in front of him.
I do think that we need to be flexible and witty when having a job interview. Eventhough we were prepared prior to it, there are some questions that can be asked unexpectedly. It is how we are going to play along with the interviewers.

This is why one should always be prepared when going to take sn interview. Questions can come from any where. you should be an all rounder person to pull through.

Yes I also have interview experience, they don't ask about things related to work or company. They asked about my daily activities. I don't understand either, maybe they want to know my habits and work ethic.

Some interviwers do that, mostly they do that to see if you can think aloutside the box if faced with situations you didnt plan for.

Yes that is very correct and it actually while it is being called an interview because they are supposed to throw a lot of questions at you to know your capability of handling the situation if they arise in your workplace.

That's true like the one who interviewed me his question was not related with the job I was applying. I was also relax that time of interview. We have to be smart too.

sometimes in a job interview the level of your confidence can even make them to give you the job. some people always shiver when they are being asked questions and that is a very bad sign.
