Preferably, keep it in the bank for interest. But normally bank will not give interest in a short period of time. The question is how long would you like to keep you money on your PayPal?
If paypal would started working here then I would still prefer my bank account to put money as one strong logic behind this is I didn't listen that your money freezed in xyz bank, but there are so many threads are present regarding this freezing problem associated with paypal.
I would transfer my money in my Paypal account to my bank account once the amount reaches the minimum for free transfer.
While many banks in my country don't give interest for this type of savings account under $ 3407 unless we transfer it to a deposit account, but anyway I prefer to keep money at the bank in local money which is easy to withdraw via ATM or spend via mobile banking.
Mercosur Paypal service promoted lately a new feature: to automatically transfer the received money to our preferred bank account. I find it easier for Latin American users. When there wasn't this current feature, in any way I never left a single cent in my Paypal account. I find it too dangerous, as a processor can face hacking, easier than an established bank.
