That's right I agree with you. Only needing basic skills to take care of the house, such as cooking, cleaning, washing and ironing clothes, etc they can work and earn decent money from it.Its mostly suited for those that don't have any skills and cannot stitch clothes or work in factories so they prefer to work as house help and make money from it
They charge according to the work so if they find the house a big one they'll charge accordingly
It depends on many factors. If you are fortunate enough to get employer that is rich and loves helping others, it will definitely help you to get paid handsomely. One of my relation is a house help to a senator and he is earning more money than a banker.
It mainly depends on where you work. Trust me you can't compare someone working as a house help in the white house or any government or royal house to someone else working as a house help in one small house.It's actually not a bad idea for young adults to work as house helps.
I don't see it as an issue or big deal but alot of people see it as a degrading job
