A good working environment, nice bosses, room for growth and development, I think these will motivate employees aside from money and incentives.

When it comes to motivating workers, many assume the only way they can do this is by giving them hugh salaries or extra bonuses. Hence some business owners do not even bother trying cause they probably do not want to start what they might not be able to finish. What other ways do you think a business owner can motivate the employees.

You can possibly motivate them by offering various bonuses and rewards.

I think providing them with flexible work schedules is one of the best ways to motivate them. They may even venture into other things.

Not everyone will work in a motivating environment. It is your duty to try as much as possible to find an environment that is motivating to you.

As an employer of labour, it's not all the time that you will use money to motivate your employees, what happens when there is no money on ground? Will the employee not still work? So o think another alternative to motivate them is by honouring them maybe on monthly basis.

You are right, after a promotion there will automatically be a salary increase and possibly provide other facilities such as a vehicle.

Yes companies should do that and if they don't then the employees may start feeling demotivated and that would be lethal for the company

Some business owners don't just know how to appreciate staff. They can't tell their staff thank you. That alone can motivate a staff and make him or her feel recognized.
