I think it is a great idea of passive income but you need to have big audience which trust you.

There is a big difference for for example a website offers you 5 % from purchase of your referral as product and a website that offers you 5 % from faucet claim it differs a lot.
it is almost impossible for some people to get referrals but you just have to try ,that's the truth.
Actually you can, if you have a big number of followers on social media then you can easily convince people by writing good content about websites.
That's one of the reasons I don't have referrals because I don't use social media much and I don't have followers on my account. Also, people here dont like to join such sites. No one in my friend circle likes to join forum sites.
It's not easy to convince users to join under your link even if you have so many followers and your referrals need to complete minimum number of posts and only then you earn.
This simply means that you need targeted audience who are searching for online jobs, so you can join money making groups and communities.
I am looking for the targetted audience but it's difficult to convince them to join and stay active on the website.
How do you sell referrals? I have heard of it but never met a person who does it. How much do they pay to buy referrals? Do you easily get the buyers and the referrals.

I sold referrals on a PTC site. The PTC site had a referral marketplace where referrals can be bought and sold.
I am not good at persuading people to join a site but I will try.

Generation of referrals is another way to make money passively online and people are already making huge profits from these avenue.
It is extremely correct that you can earn passive income through referrals because these are exactly how you can quickly make money if you have any way that you utilise the find people in order to earn from refferals.
The ability to generate referrals is a key because you must be able to have enough refferals if you want to earn passively fom this medium but it is one of the ways to make quick income.
On some platforms, when you have a referral, whatever the referral does as activity on the platform, you earn. That's sa good passive income stream.
