I honestly do not think passive income through referral is a good idea because the person one referred has to be active on the particular site before one would get paid.

There is multiple reasons is that someone leave a platform so the first reason is the particular site is surf for pennies means reward is not something meaningful in the life and the second reason is that he finds a platform that pays a little better than this one.

Passive income through referral is very nice and perfect income, provided we get success in making active referrals. Sometimes website offers to purchase referral but no guarantee there as these will be active or not.
