Shifting careers

I know one medical doctor who said that she will be retiring soon and will only concentrate selling supplements. I don't find this idea feasible. The supplements can only be temporary because of the massive promotion. I don't get the rationale of stopping the profession one worked so hard to attain. What's your opinion on this.

I have never shifted my careers, I started as a writer and I still make money as a writer, but along with writing I also do other things

It's hard to change career for a person. I am also thinking to switch on to some business after the retirement.

It depends. If the medical doctor is near retirement age and has substantial savings and investments, he or she could retire and start a business. However, it is not practical if he or she is not financially stable.

I guess the doctor is tired working using his or her profession. I think he or she can do both.

She already estimated that business as credible and feasible. She might buy in bulk and supply the pharmacies.

Before someone wants to make some moves, there is something he or she has seen that might propel her into the supplement business.

It's not really a complete shift though, since she is still into health. Am sure she must have thought about it carefully before making the decision. That by the side, a lot of people actually rely on supplements these days.

Sometimes is good change career. If you are not happy at work it can start affect on personal life to. You will go home nervous or be nervous because you must go at work where you don't like be. If you chance for it, change it.

Nothing is permanent if the career you are into isn't paying off abd not worth it for you then change it
