Should employees be allowed with their phones during work hours?

I don't see any reason for an employer to stop his or her employees from being with their phones during work hours especially when it is not a source of distraction.

Though depending on the type and nature of the job. There are jobs that requires that you use your mobile phone to attend to customers by taking orders and other important things..

If the mobile phone would cause distraction and make them loose concentration, then they should be restricted from using the mobile phone or any other devices..

In many workplaces, many employees are allowed to use phones. However, only senior employees are allowed to use their phones in workplaces. This depends a lot on the designation of the employee.

If the mobile phone are not causing any hazard to the person and any other distractions. People should be allowed to have their phones Incase of any emergency that could arise..
