There is a popular say that '' look before you leap``. Which meant, before you take that drastic decision of quiting your job, ensure there is a sustainable environment for you to leverage upon. It is everybody's wishes to establish and has own business. But there are occasions things do not go as planned. Things inadvertently changes. If unanticipated events turned up and there is no available assistance to cater for it, then how do one sustain and come out of it successfully. Therefore, as you are planning to quit, always ensure you arrange for the alternative system in case there is an emergency.

Few years ago, ok little more than few, I got offer to change my employer. New empyloer wanted me come right away but I didn't want quit previous job until I get warranty for new job or pre contract. At end I didn't change my job.
When I quit my job, I had known that I had viable alternatives before I did so. You don't quit your job without having solid plans and even a back up plan for yourself.
That's right, we must have a plan before quitting a job. Even though the plan is still global, at least we know what we will do in the future to survive in the midst of a difficult economic crunch.

Yes plan B is necessary as you are planning to establish your business. Ensure your plan B is well established and sustainable, capable enough to cater for you in case your dream project fail.
Many people failed in this area as they feel that once they started their businesses, things would become rosy for them immediately not knowing that uneasy lies the head that wears a crown.
Well said, most people actually have ideas or plans but the mistake they make is that they just quickly quit their jobs without having to even think about it, if they are making the right decisions or not.
It will be a very risky decision to resign from your job if you don't have a better alternative. A better alternative doesn't just mean more wages but a better working condition. If you don't do this, you'll end up in a worse situation.
It is advisable to quit your job if you have gotten another one but if you have not gotten a new job and you quit the one you already have , it's not a good move.

Yes it is not a good move to quit your present job while in the course of another one. Such action is regrettable. No one is saying to look for better alternatives is bad. But if you have to look for another one, ensure you don't lose the present one and your present work is not compromised as well.
It's not enough for you to have an alternative plan before quitting your current job , you still need to make sure your plan is working first ,be it business or whatsoever.You need to make sure your plan works right before quitting.
Probably looking for other jobs and starting all over. You might not be successful as you were in your previous company. One should check out the pros and cons before deciding to quit
