In some cases, the vendors refuse to reply to the business owner after receiving payment for a few months. The vendors were paid very well, yet they do not reply, and tell others that the business owner "does not matter" . What could be the reason for this behavior?

Not in some, many, I mean I've seen a lot of such guys in the past.

This does not happen often but could be these vendors are not trusted and do this with every business so we need to be careful about this.

I think that's one advantage of PayPal that made it the favorite payment processor globally. If you paid with PayPal, file a report immediately before they withdraw the money. PayPal will freeze their funds and refund you once the accusation is proven.

Well I believe it's obvious that what they where after was just the money that is why they can show such behaviors once they get the money.

Vendor he's referring to supplier. Well that happens occasionally. It's best to go and buy goods in person or deal with a supplier that is trustworthy.

Yes nothing beats escrow when conducting business with someone you don't know. Nobody can cheat as long as escrow is involved.

The obvious reason that I would think why they would act this way is simply because that they have scammed you and they are not willing to send you the product that you have actually paid for.

I think some of them may be scammers
Also, some of them may not have the products that they claim to have so they may be scared to pick calls and tell you the truth.

You have a very valid point and that is why it is important to be sceptical of most of these platforms.

That's why I like AliExpress. At that point, you can open a dispute and the company would ensure that to your money is refunded. We have to be careful. Thats why checking customer reviews are important.
