Honestly, the only disadvantage of of using freebies as promotion model is that it is very expensive. Apart from been expensive, no all customers that receive free gift will come back.

I'm like that too. We have a food delivery app 'Swiggy' that used to give so many offers and I used to use it a lot but they have stopped giving offers now so their work load has decreased.

This is actually a very good strategy for you to improve your business sales but it is always advisable for you not to overdo it in order for you to have a higher return.

the only time in which you will see the disadvantage is if you do it the wrong way. Apart from that,it can attract a lot of customers to your business venture and that can boost your sales and popularity of your business in the long run.

I agree with you. I had given some freebies to the customers who ordered and bought of my items online. They did not come back despite having these freebies received from me.
