What are the ways of reducing the level of unemployment

That is the best solution. Government itself cannot provide employment to its citizens but when it creates enabling environment, the problem would be solved.
Even though in practice many governments fail to reduce unemployment, in theory it is to increase the number of jobs, so that the ratio of the number of job seekers and available jobs is balanced. Improving work skills, and training entrepreneurship, the Government should also provide capital loans with low interest.

Local Governments are the governments nearest to the grassroots, but it is a pity these governments are not functional in Nigeria. They don't offer good policies as they are short funded by their superior governments.
Yeah by encouraging self employment it does help one.
Government and rich people can take some practical measures to control it as they can open many industries where people can get easy job. People must have some website from Government in which normal common individual can work and earn.
Unemployment can't be minimized by the government providing the enabling environment for private sector to thrive. The public sector can never drive an economy alone.
I don't believe they are not adequately funded, rather, the funds given to them are stolen or not used properly. Sometimes, it's also an issue of management and execution of projects with the money that was allocated.
Yes I agreed. They are adequately funded. But they don't received their allocation directly from the federation account. The State government received it on their behalf and pays them stipends only.
Governments have to take more effort if they want to improve the rate of employment in their country. It's not the citizens fault that corporates and businesses do not offer sufficient jobs. Governments need to ensure more partnerships with countries and enterprises, as well as to upskill their citizens, in order to stay competitive in the workforce.
