Though I have not experienced losing a job, I can feel those people who were on this journey. They might be sad or upset about why it happens that way, especially during the surge of the coronavirus when many lost their jobs.

It is very important to save and invest your salary while on a job. That way, you have something to fall back on if you lose your job. You can use your investments income or savings while searching for a new job.
This is why a lot of persons are adviced to always having more than one source of income. Have investments, save and as well have multiple sources of income, this would help a lot.
One of my close relatives did the same. He lost his job( a good paying one) in corporate world abruptly due to some cost cutting and number cutting. He actually went through a low phase. But then started his own business of raw material supplies to builders. Today, he is very successful and doing extremely good financially. He has even employed many people. But not everyone would be cut out for a business.
