What's your thoughts on selfish employers

These days most employers are like that so we don't have the option and need to work

This is simply the way it is almost all over the world and there is nothing anyone can do about it because if you feel it is easy, you can easily start your own company and hire people and treat them as you like.

If I find myself working for an employer who is uninterested in providing incentives other than monetary compensation, I would be constantly looking to find another employer and quit such uninspiring employment.

I don't think its because of the recession or anything like that and they are like that since the beginning, not all but many

It is always the way most of their mindset have already been strategize in the way that going to run their business which is why they treat their workers and how they like.

Most employers are like that. That's why most people get another source of income and struggle to get their own business too. In the long run, that's the only option you have since such employers rarely change.

It is so hard to do anything about your employer not giving you incentives. Maybe you can stand your ground and refuse to do anything above what you are paid for. For the time being, do that while you look for a better job that appreciates employees better.

To an extent an employer being selfish could be relative and also justifiable, but when done extremely, it could lead to catastrophe and mismanagement, most times some employees tend to spend anyhow or do things that could cause the business to incur huge loss, hence the reason why employers are like that.

It is so hard to do anything about your employer not giving you incentives. Maybe you can stand your ground and refuse to do anything above what you are paid for. For the time being, do that while you look for a better job that appreciates employees better.

Yeah, if he decides not to give anything outside the agreed salary then you should also agree not doing anywork outside the agreed job and that makes the equation balanced.some employers just like taking advantage of workers.

Yeah, it is reasonable to some extent. For instance, you cannot be paid an incentive yet you don't do much work. But if you overwork workers and don't pay them a bonus, a catastrophe is imminent. In fact, most workers lose motivation and look for better jobs when they feel like they are misused by an employer.

One thing employers should always have in mind is how to treat workers well especially if they are doing their job well

It is only a few employees or entrepreneur that understand they should treat their workers very well because they are also human beings and there was a time when they were still working under another somebody.

I am against discrimination related to payment, I believe the employers should be able to pay what the employee actually deserve. However, most time this does not happen because employer wants to make more for himself and pay less to his employees.

Most employers are like that. employers rarely change. That's why most people get another source of income which is the best way to go. You might just have to get your own business if ghr employer is not changing

Any employer that shows himself or herself as selfish would always end up losing employees. They are the ones that usually owe salaries.
