When Should Employees Be Paid?

Although I would prefer to get paid every week but many are of this idea that its better to get paid monthly as this way we can plan our budget properly

I think weekly payments are better than other options.

I am also a very big fan of weekly payments when it comes to how worker salary should be paid because that is enough time for them to need the money to take care of their needs.

Employees should be paid as at when due. Most employees are usually paid during the month end, while there are some that have other arrangements with the manager or employer.

I would prefer weekly payments and I feel I can plan my budget and expenses properly if I will be paid weekly but in India we don't get paid weekly and they pay monthly

Once a month is fine if the person would be paid every week I think he/she would spend more money and it's hard to manage your finances so it's better this way

Its better to get paid monthly as we mostly need to pay monthly for our different bills, rent, subscriptions, etc so this way it will be easier for everyone to manage

In general, employees are paid monthly, namely at the end of the month or the beginning of the month.

Over here employees are usually paid at the end of the month, then there are some cases where payment is delayed to some extent, so they get it at the beginning of the new month.

It would be good if we can get paid weekly as there are times when I feel its a longer wait to get paid every month and at my present job they pay after 40-45 days

I would love to be paid weekly. But most companies in my country pay monthly. The company I liked most was a restaurant that paid me every 10 days. It was so east to manage that money and I saved a lot. The problem with monthly payments is that you can easily go broke within the month and get tempted to borrow and get into a continuous loop of debt.

When you are paid every week then you don't have to wait for long to use your earned money and in monthly set up the wait is quite a longer one

People just love to get paid monthly and this is how it is operated in my country but I wouldn't mind having weekly or even daily pay. I will enjoy it this way

Every job have agreements between employers and workers when the workers start their new job and one of the agreement between those two parts are the payment rate and the payment time, so payments should be done based on those time sets.

Yeah, it is better to discuss on those things like salary, payment day, additional payments for over time works, and paid vacation days, this things needs to be covered before starting any job because this will lead to unwanted conversation and disagreement later
