Two face reality,. Bitcoin has the greatest potential of all the cryptocurrencies in the crypto market and that is why bitcoin has improved drastically over time, but there are still some altcoins that are also very good to adopt.
in terms of potentials to make you profit I don't think bitcoin is the best. there are some altcoins that can give you 100x of your investment but bitcoin cannot do that at least for now.
