Yes, they may be hired for selling products for large families. People without children will spend less and may not be target customers for company which has hired the researcher for a survey.All survey sites ask for number of household. It's somewhat weird. What shall they do with the data? I thought after answering they will offer a product but none. It makes a survey lengthy then after some minutes they will reject the applicant.
