Yes, that is why there is what we call specialisation in a business venture. It will make work easier because everyone will be focused on a particular job. Just like catalogue, it is meant to differentiate to facilitate workflow.

This is what I did when still working in an American company in China. They cannot understand why some components or materials were lost or even cannot find them. The reason is that they did not do catalogues in their system.

I think it is now very clear to me and every business needs a catalogue to keep records
