Newly started businesses always have challenges that are associated to financial management and ability to organize. And most people won't want to work for a new start up.
Supposing you are offered a job with a company that is just newly started, would you accept to work with them? What would be the things that would give you assurance to accept their job offer?

I have worked for a start-up before. They cannot afford to pay me a very decent salary but offer to give me some shares of the company. I accepted the offer because I have confidence in the company's product. As of to date, the company has grown a lot, and I am still receiving dividends from the shares I have with the company.

I would not mind working for a start up as long as I am happy with the work culture, workspace, my job role and responsibilities and of course the remuneration. Every established brand today was a startup at one point of time.

This was a very smart deal. And you were sensitive enough to understand that it is not about the short term but also about the long term. And you are reaping the benefits now.

The thing is not every startups can keep to the agreement as regards payment of salary on time, very few do so I'd advice that if you must work in such company, don't put your eggs in one basket and try as much as you can not to get your hopes high so you won't get disappointed in the end.

As for me, if your business is not up to 5 years, I can't work for you. I don't want someone to come and be owing money. Startups usually need volunteer workers and interns.

Why not, I would work for a new start up especially if the psy is right .Newly started businesses or existing businesses always have challenges so it is to stick around and help it grow

When you stick around and help it grow, would they also help you grow in future? When they need to downsize, would they remember this your commitment and not let it affect you? Business world is dog eat dog.

Yeah that's business world for you dog eat dog world it is sometimes good to just do the one that you can and leave the rest because if you are no longer there life goes on

The most important thing to consider for me when it comes to working for a new business start up is the pay I'm getting. If I get paid well, I don't care at all working there.

I will work for a start up business if the business pays well and everything that I need to get my works done are in place. And there is no extra things that will make me stressed up

Personally, I would take the offer to work with a new startup, because it will help me in building my skills that could be valuable in no distant time, but I will only accept the offer if the start-up will promise me of career development and also allow me to go for some trainings

People who just graduated from the University. They will accept any amount they pay them.
But the other side is that if you manage and cope with the business and it eventually booms, you would be occupying a high position with a very good pay.

I have seen the trends changing these days. Earlier people were more into established brands for various reasons, job security being the topmost reason. But now I see many highly qualified youths opting to start a startup or work for one.
