If I were to own a forum, I would own one that focuses on sex and sexuality. That particular area of human endeavor sells like water. Ads would pop in and you would be cashing out.

If you work in that niche you will not be able to use major ad networks like Google adsnese or media.net. You will have to consider the policy of the advertisers in orderto monetize your site with ads.

I don't know much about ad networks but I am sure adult sites get adverts on their Sites. How do they do it? Is it even a must to use AdSense? If there are other netwo that work with the niche, you work with those networks.

Eh. I would need a bit of an investment to consider owning one, that or a extra source of income to boost what I need to run one, if things get busy. BUT if I were to run one, I would initially start on something either generic or specific, and then broaden out with areas specific to certain discussions.

Mr. B had sold BMF a long time ago to Chinese people. Knowing the Chinese very well, they won't buy a business that's not profitable.

It's very possible for anyone of us here to own a paid to post forum. I think ptps do pay alot. Ptp owners can benefit from the revenue from AdSense, profits from the market place among others.

Yes, I think all those who have such a forum today were once users in the old forums. Now they can use and learn from the experience of old forums and add their new ideas in their own forum

Owning a PTP forum is not just something that you wake up and start doing. You must have spent a considerable amount of time learning and strategizing to take off on a sound note. You might not make any revenue for the first year but you are still paying members.

Mr. B had sold BMF a long time ago to Chinese people. Knowing the Chinese very well, they won't buy a business that's not profitable.

We will see what happen in the future as I believe there can be a case that Chinese may sell the forum back to him and that will be best for us

Sounds nice but it's not easy since you need to balance the money you get and the money that you pay for users I love PTP so maybe someday I will create one who knows

I love it too but I am not planning to create one anytime soon because it is quite stressful and it is not something that anyone who does not know about it can engage in

You should give it a try because you are always active on forums and I think you know a lot of things about forums so you should give it a try. You are even popular on forums too

Well, it may not help but do you know it may help. For example, someone like Joshua Farell is very popular on forums. Don't you think people will want to work on his forum when he has one?

Paid to post forum is a good and interesting business idea. While the owner makes money, it also helps people to earn money while sharing ideas and experience. I would love to own a paid to post forum one day.

Yup it's nice you make people happy and make money yourself there are not a lot of PTP forums these days so if somebody would create one that is legit people would definitely join it

My answer still remains the same back then, i would not be able to handle the stress of running a paid to post forum. Besides that i would have to worry about how to pay the members, I don't think i am ready for that right now.
