Laundry business is doing well in my location. Although a lot of households here have washing and drying machines, people take the more expensive clothes they have to dry cleaners.
It's a very lucrative business in deed I have seen so many people leveraging with the job in my country. Most people nowadays have become too busy with life and job activities and do rely on the laundry services provided on the market.

It is not necessary you have core laundry skill before you can operate one. Technology has made dry cleaning simple and flexible. There are gadgets for all aspects of laundry. Washing machine, drying machine, ironing etc.
I am still yet to hear a machine that can dye clothes and change it to any color you want. That is advanced laundry skills not possessed by your average roadside laundry man.
Yes laundry business is very lucrative if you are in a good location. There are a lot of people who are in urban area and they don't have the time to wash and they are ready to pay for the service
Some people may even have the time but just don't want to stress themselves over doing of laundry so they will prefer to pay for it and enjoy their time
Laundry business can even be done as a part time job, if you have a regular job and it's not taking much of your time and you are also free on weekends, you can do it as a part time job
Some people don't just want to do there laundry by themselves, I feel they can use that time for something more productive so them will be happy to pay someone to do it for them
