As someone who is a boss, I tell my staff that the customers are not always right, but they have the right to be wrong with dignity.

I don't think so that customers are always right, what if that customer damaged a product, and she must pay for it regardless of the cost?

Customers are always right, meaning that all customer complaints must be respected and we must respond properly, be friendly so there is no need to argue or strike back at the customer, but give the customer a detailed explanation, so that in the end they will understand.

This is what a boss will tell you all the time. Customers are always right treat them with care. What do you think in your opinion?
Customers are not always right but simply because we want to satisfy a lot of them, that is when we will say customers are right but deeply we know that they are not right all the time

I think they simply say that as a way of pleasing their customers. Truth be told customers are not always right, but you simply have to treat them with care as not to loose them.

Yes it is never true that customers are always right but if you want to make them happy and want them to continue to come and patronize you just have to succumb to whatever they do
With due respect, I beg to disagree with the statement, for me, if you would do that, you will tolerate the wrong doings and give the customer the liberty to hold you in your neck... It's your business, you should be the one who have the say to it. The word "whatever" is an overstatement. ;)

With due respect, I beg to disagree with the statement, for me, if you would do that, you will tolerate the wrong doings and give the customer the liberty to hold you in your neck... It's your business, you should be the one who have the say to it. The word "whatever" is an overstatement. ;)
I totally understand your point and you are right but with what have been taught if you want to keep your customers just try to succumb to them but there are times that they will frustrate you and that is when you can disagree fully with them
