With the rising inflation, prices of food products have risen and sometimes doubled in some countries. One of the affected products is chicken. Chicken is the meat of choice for so many people. The price of chicken has seen some increase because the cost of feed and other inputs has increased.

So what is the price of a standard kilo of Chicken in your country

Price of chicken varies depending on the cut. It ranges around 3.50 dollars to 5 dollars. It also depends on where to buy it. Some outlets sell them cheaper but depending on the supply.

In my country as I have already pointed out in my previous posts that the inflation has hit us so hard that the prices of almost everything is hicked up. So you have to dig your pocket deeper to spend $6 for just a kilogramme of the chicken .

Well, more people usually eat chicken during festive in this part of the world. it is actually not a luxury but the thing is that people have a lot of other alternatives. I personally prefer goat meat.

I have noticed quite an increase in the price of chicken here in England, UK. I don't always look at the price for kilo as they tend to be packed and priced at a set price but the small pack is around £2 something when it used to be around £1.69 if I remember rightly and now the family pack is over £3 when it used to be just over £2.

I have also noticed that even bigger packs can sometimes cost over £7 and I have never seen that before.

As long as those chickens are not mature you cannot be able to eat it which is why you are left with the option of having to buy in the market to make use of.

of course location matters a lot. If you buy directly from the poultry farmers you will get it at a cheaper price. But when you buy from people who ar reselling you will buy at a higher price.
