Korean Drama and Mexican telenovels

There is no doubt that Korean dramas are quite popular. They were not so well known earlier but have picked up a lot in recent years. And I have seen that they have quite a variation. That's a good thing about them

I have watched many genres of k dramas , which were full of suspense,thriller, twists, adventure and many more but my favorites are All of us are dead, Flowers of evil, Big mouth , Docter stranger etc.

I totally recommend it. They are worth giving a try. They are quite well made, have variations and are entertaining. If you don't mind the effort of watching it with the subtitles, you can go ahead and try one. You might also join their fan club.

Hmm...I can understand that. Actually it might take some time to acquire a taste and liking for. It might not happen instantly for everyone. Moreover, many people don't like watching shows with subtitles. Language can be discouraging for some.

K Dramas don't make sense to me. I would rather watch Kim Kardashians fake show than sit to watch a K Drama.

I used to be a huge fan of Mexican telenovelas, especially Marimar. Hehe. I also enjoy watching Kdramas, but it was not until the coronavirus pandemic that I became a fan of them.

I have watched both, while they both have good storylines and even great actings, I think Korean movies or dramas has an upper hand.

I have not tried to watch Mexican dramas. I am used to watching KDramas with my mother before. She also like Chinese dramas when she was still alive.

I have not followed any as such. But I have seen my daughter watch quite a few of them. And when I watch some with her or talk to her about it, I find that the stories aee quite unique and they keep coming up with innovative ideas. It's not the same predictable old beaten track. Maybe that's what attracts so much of viewership. With so many overwhelming options, one is always looking for entertainment that is fresh and bit different.
