Let us pay ourselves first

I think the best way we can pay ourselves is to invest the money and let the money work for us. Paying ourselves doesn't necessarily mean to buy stuffs for ourselves. It simply mean to invest for our future when we can not be able to make money or work again.

Starving Myself does not even make any sense because I work so hard to make the little money that I make. It will not still be nice to starve myself.

I totally agree there..I strongly believe that only if I am happy, I can make others around happy. Only if I love and respect myself, I would be able to do that to others around me. I often spend a part of my earnings to pamper myself..be it a spa, a treat for myself.

I spend some of my earnings a few weeks ago to get a new phone because I realised that I needed to change my phone because I have the money to do so and I will still take myself out on a treat very soon

I am saving my online earnings for few months to get a very nice handbag for myself. It's been a while that I have bought a handbag. My current one is pretty old and now tearing up..the other two that I have are fancy ones. They are expensive ones and can be used for special occasions and parties. It's not for regular use.

You sound like me. I spend my money very judiciously and I try my level best to stick to the financial budget that I have. I am very much financially disciplined. But I don't mind paying extra for quality products. That's actually a wise decision in long run. I don't compromise on quality.

Same here.i was not like that before because I did not like to spend money but. realized that there is no point in working when you cannot spend your money.

Let us pay ourselves first. We work hard even on weekends but during paydays, we ignore the call of ourselves like dining in a nice resto, watching a movie, or buying something that we are passionate about.
