PayPal is the major payment processor that I make use of for any kind of international transaction and their services are very good except that their charges is very high now.

if you're working online internationally, I don't think you can use your local banks to make transactions. You can use cryptocurrency or you can use PayPal.

That depends on individual sites. For RIF, if I redeemed $5, $0.52 USD is deducted as service fee. I only got $4.48. Most of the survey sites I work with pay for the service fee. I receive the full amount.

That's reasonable. It is about 10% of the total amount. When you receive it in dollars, you now exchange it with the currency of your country to your bank account right? Do you exchange at paypal's exchange rate?

Yes, when I transfer my money in Paypal to my bank account, Paypal converts the US dollar to HK dollar. The problem is their exchange rate is not competitive. The market exchange rate for HK$ to US$ is about $7.78 - 7.8. Paypal's rate is about $7.75-7.76.

It is not really that much of a difference. I think PayPal is using the rate from your apex bank directly while the other rate you gave is what is obtainable in the open market.

This is a time when we wish PayPal was working for our country. I know so many users here from Nigeria wish to withdraw but they can't because of the issues the owner has with his cryptocurrency account.

I only use cryptocurrency and Binance to do all my online transactions. Once a site don't accept or pay with cryptocurrency, I have no business with them. Though I have account with skrill, but I prefer cryptocurrency because is seamless and fast.
