What are the minimum wages in your country?

Some countries are not just trying by because the minimum wage is just rubbish this is why we are always poor and this leaves a lot of people stranded especially those with family

Yeah the minimum wage of most of the countries are really low. And the government isn't even encouraging as they turn blind eyes to the plight of the people too

There is no particular minimum wages set in Nigeria. Every successive governments has been failing in its responsibility to implement its minimum salary packages. Salaries in Nigeria is too worrisome.

what do you have to realise is that poor countries always pays little amount of money as minimum wage. But countries with better economy pays more money.

Well, to a large extent it is so countries always pays little amount of money as minimum wage when they are poor But Nigeria isn't poor we just have corrupt leaders

The minimum wages are defined in the act to stop employers from exploiting the employees and in India at present it's only $120 for a month which is too low but yes Government is planning to increase it.

What about in your country?

Minimum wage in our country varies from one region to another region and varies according to the type of business sector. Those in the agricultural sector has lower wage rates. Generally amount is not lesser than 7 dollars a day minimum and it's the lowest. But some government job orders are paid lower than the mandated minimum wage workers. Most of these job orders are political accomodations and some doing personal stuff for the elected officials.

When I tell my friends outside that minimum wage in my country is 65 dollars. They would be amazed how a full grown adult can survive on that amount for a week talkess of a month.
