What is your preferred salary system, daily, weekly or monthly?

In my country there are several salary systems that are usually implemented by companies/businesses, usually daily, weekly and monthly. Where I work, I usually pay a monthly salary, but if we need money, we can take a bill (money is taken before payday), but the bill cannot exceed the balance of salary we have at that time. I prefer straight commission paid as I earn it. I have no problem only getting paid what I am worth to the company and if I need more, I just need to work harder (or smarter) to get it.

Straight commission is common for salesmen's positions, where I get a percentage or flat rate on every sale I make. My son sells Windows and Doors to install in existing homes and his commissions average over $15,000 USD per month. I have retired, so I am not on the payroll anymore.

I also don't mind the system's daily, weekly, or monthly salary, as long as they pay me a decent amount. But I prefer the daily system, because I don't have to wait longer to get my money, I can manage my money well.

Unfortunately in my country most companies have their payment salary system to be on monthly basis and there is nothing anyone can do about it because it is a uniform thing. I would like weekly pay though.

It is the reason why knowing how to manage your money is something that is very important for someone who is getting paid on a monthly basis because that is the only way you can be able to still stay afloat until your salary comes.

Yesh it is to learn the act of savings so that you don't run out of cash before the next pay day it will ge helpful to make sure that you spend wisely

Although most say monthly is good but I feel weekly payments would be best for me and others may agree too

Here normally we get salary on monthly basis but I love to get it on weekly basis as by this we can assess the company as whether they give salary on time or not.

Big offices don't release weekly salary. It could be 15th and 30th to save time and effort of the human resource people and finance department.

It depends on the company and what you negotiated with it. And all the payment systems have their advantages and disadvantages. I personally prefer the monthly payment because it helps in planning.
