Sure, work is all about getting paid so that you can eke out a living. So you need to do the needful right from the beginning ask about your salary

I talk about my salary always with my would-be employers.. When once you know your worth and you are offering enough value then you should ask for the right compensation as salary

That's one thing most of us do. When we seek for a new employment, we do talk about our salary expectations with the new prospective employee. One has to disclose the current or previous compensation to them. But all these are confidential ones. Talking about it to others at work, friends and family is a choice and no one can be forced about it.

Yes that's true, like where i used to work, i did not discuss anything about salary. Till i stopped working there, no one knew how much i was being paid.

You don't have any business discussing your salary with just anyone that is working in the same place with you unless you are very close friend with the person and you can trust the person.
