in Nigeria you must ensure that you ;
- Obtain a degree in pharmacy from a recognized university
- Register with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
- Obtain a license to practice pharmacy from the PCN
- Register your pharmacy with the PCN and obtain a premises registration certificate
- Comply with all the regulations and guidelines set by the PCN for operating a pharmacy in Nigeria
I believe every country have their rules and regulations. So I don't think it will be the same everywhere.I believe the requirements should be same everywhere when once you own a pharmacy then you would need a licence to practice it and run it as well maybe add a permit to it.
I believe that it is a very good idea to open a pharmacy shop because this type of business is very profitable. In my country, you must have a university diploma for that and get a license from the government.Here in my country, there are some requirements that you need to meet up to if truly you want to have a pharmacy shop.
The person must have a certificate. It is either he learns about pharmacy or he studies it at the University.
There are other requirements that I can't remember.

Probably, in some countries the tax forms must be filled when you are registering for such a business but there are some countries where it is not necessary. So some of those things must be put in place.You are very correct with that assessment because whenever requirement that is set up for opening such business in United States of America is different from what is obtainable in Nigeria
